Acrylic Painting

Choose between the leading brands in Acrylic Colour: Winsor and Newton, Daler Rowney, Golden Acrylic Colors and the British-Made Pip Seymour Artist’s Acrylic Paints.

We have artist’s acrylic paint for the professional artist and student quality for beginners and students of art and painting.
With acrylic paint, there is also a wealth of painting mediums and additives to create exciting textures and affects within your work.
Acrylic Paint can be thinned with water and your brushes can be cleaned with water and a little soap. Do not allow the acrylic pant to dry on your brushes. Once dry, it will be difficult to get it off. Wash the paint off quickly using water and a household soap or clean your brushes with a specialised artist brush soap.

The ideal surface for painting with acrylics is a primed stretched canvas or specialised paper for painting with acrylics. Acrylic paint can be applied to any semi-porous surface such as paper and board. More porous surfaces such as cloth, plaster or wood will require a gesso primer to be laid first.
